Memorial services in Toronto - Rémy M. Beauregard

The entire staff at Rights & Democracy is deeply saddened by the sudden death of their President, Rémy M. Beauregard.

Mr. Beauregard's death is a terrible loss for Rights & Democracy and its international partners, in whose work he took a keen and active interest. Appointed by the Government of Canada, Mr. Beauregard began his five year term as President on July 7, 2008. He quickly invested himself heart and soul in the work of Rights & Democracy and made special efforts to witness our projects being implemented on the ground in Afghanistan, Haiti, China, Colombia and other countries.

Rights & Democracy wishes to express its deepest condolences to Mr. Beauregard's loving wife and best friend, Suzanne Trépanier. Mr. Beauregard took great pleasure in regaling his staff with stories about his life with Suzanne, and in doing so established a warm and friendly rapport with his employees that will be missed by all.

Memorial services will take place in:

Toronto, January 30th, 11:00 a.m.      
Sacré-Cœur Eglise           
381 Sherbourne Street
